How the Course Works
Step 1 — Complete Your Online Learning
Begin your scuba journey from home.
After registration, you’ll receive access to your official PADI or SSI eLearning materials where you’ll learn:
- Diving physics
- Diving physiology
- Equipment usage
- Safety procedures
- Underwater communication
- Dive planning
Study anytime, anywhere, at your own pace.
Step 2 — Pool Training in Jakarta
Once you’ve completed the online theory, you’ll join your instructor for a full day of pool training (not applicable for advanced open water course).
You’ll practice:
- Breathing underwater
- Buoyancy control
- Mask clearing
- Regulator recovery
- Emergency procedures
- Safe ascents and descents, and more
This session builds the confidence you’ll need before entering the ocean.
Step 3 — Open Water Training Dives
Your final step is completing four open water dives at one of Indonesia’s beautiful dive destinations.
Under your instructor’s supervision, you’ll apply everything you’ve learned in real diving conditions while enjoying coral reefs and marine life.
After successfully completing the course, you’ll earn your internationally recognized scuba certification.

How long does the course take?
Most students complete the course in approximately three days, although the online theory can be completed at your own pace before the practical sessions.
Which is better: PADI or SSI?

Do I need to know how to swim?
Basic swimming ability is required. You don’t need to be an expert swimmer. You should be comfortable in the water and able to complete the required swimming and floating assessments.
